Bhakti Yoga is known as Yoga of Love or Yoga of Devotion. Bhakti invites us to cultivate and develop the connection with the heart. We are all a part and parcel of the Divine, the Beloved, the Great Spirit, the Self, or the Source; the One has many names. And all our thoughts, speech, and actions shall be offered to praise the Divine is the true mystic reality of Bhakti Yoga. Akari explains the foundational principles of Bhakti Yoga system that are easy to apply in our daily life and instantly transformational.
This 1-day retreat will include asana, meditation, kirtan, voicework, storytelling and practical discussion of how to integrate the practice of Bhakti Yoga into a daily life.
This retreat is beneficial for everyone. You don’t need to have any specific yogic or spiritual background in order to participate. All levels are welcome. Come with open heart 😊

About Akari Tamura:
Originally from Japan, Akari Tamura is Yoga Teacher, Kirtan Leader and multi-instrumentalist. Since 2006, she has devoted years of study in traditional Hatha Yoga, Tantra Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Hinduism, Mythology, Jnana Yoga (meditation, self-inquiry), Tibetan Buddhism, and has been teaching actively since 2013. Akari is based in Koh Phangan, Thailand and India. She tours around Europe in summer.
Akari has a unique way to inspire students from all backgrounds by transmitting embodied wisdom from the heart. Incorporating the teachings of Bhakti Yoga and wide range of yogic philosophy and practice, Akari creates and holds a sacred space for students both outer-physical and inner-spiritual journey. Her dharma (soul purpose) is to help to elevate the consciousness of humanity towards the recognition of our true nature in life through practice of yoga, music, power of intentions and force of love.
